I may have just bought both of these pairs of shoes…
Shoes: Part 1.
Later on, in Shoes: Part 2, I’m going to ask you to forgo the bog-standard (Boring) Oxford shoes, in search of something more exciting.
But first I want to tell you about brogues.
Originally a walking shoe, with perforations in the leather to allow water to drain away after trudging through a particularly nasty puddle, the brogue has come swiftly back into fashion with more patterns and styles than you can shake a (walking) stick at!
Wearing a pair of fancy shoes with some slim fit trousers or chinos will make you look, frankly, a bit naff. So slap on a pair of chunky brogues, preferably in a medium-to-chocolate brown and you will look the part. Casual, yet a gentleman, nonetheless. Buy a decent pair and you’ll be set for life.
Oh, and don’t forget the full wingtip for max style points.
This fashion tip applies not only to the men!
Nice crossover. By Prada
